Pauline Nadjarian Bou Jaoude

Pauline Nadjarian is an Educational and Counseling Psychologist and consultant/trainer in inclusive education. She has been working with children, adolescents, young adults, parents and teachers in educational and private settings in the MENA region for over 20 years. She has been a lecturer at Universities in Lebanon in the field of psychology, assessment, special education, and counseling. Pauline’s journey started in schools where she has been a member of leadership teams pioneering in Lebanon in implementing inclusive education and counseling services for children with various needs and disabilities. Pauline has continued her growth in educational settings assuming administrative and consultatory roles in schools across the GCC including principalship at the Lebanese School in Qatar working closely with the parents of the children enrolled in those schools. She is currently an educational and counseling psychologist in a private setting. In addition, she is an educational consultant in inclusive education working on several projects with UNICEF offices in the MENA region. Pauline is the author of the UNICEF Parental Engagement Curriculum for Parents of Children with Disabilities and the accompanying Facilitator’s guide that is being implemented across Lebanon reaching out to parents and children in refugee settlements as well as local community parents and caregivers. Pauline has other publications as part of her work with NGOs including a guide for parents and teachers for inclusive schools and a guidebook for teachers for curriculum adaptations and modifications.

Sabbiana Cunsolo

Sabbiana is currently a consultant with Innocenti, working on the EU Child Guarantee project, managing research on practice initiatives targeted at migrant and Roma children. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology and an MSc in Development Economics from the University of Florence.

Sabbiana has expertise both in qualitative and quantitative research methods. She has experience as a researcher and evaluation consultant with various NGOs and organizations, including UNICEF and Oxfam, with a particular focus on vulnerable children, social inclusion and support to civil society organizations. She has field-based research experience in Ecuador, Liberia, Palestine, and Ethiopia.

From 2017 to 2019 Sabbiana also worked as Child Protection Specialist with IOM responding to the migrant emergency in Italy, the protection of refugees and migrants, with a special focus on the protection of unaccompanied children falling victim to trafficking for sexual and labor exploitation. Previously she was a practitioner working for various NGOs to support the social inclusion of Roma children, migrant unaccompanied children (girls falling victim to trafficking) and people with disabilities.

Tatjana Colin

With over 30 years of professional experience, Tatjana Colin has worked in the United States, South-Eastern Europe, West and South Africa, Southeast Asia, Western Europe, the former Soviet Union and the Middle East with various UN agencies, INGOs and Universities in programs related to child protection, mental health and special education, including direct service provision, policy development, systems’ reform, research, human rights advocacy and litigation.

Since 2007, Tatjana has served as a Chief of Child Protection Programs in UNICEF Liberia, Moldova, Angola and Afghanistan and currently serves as a Chief of Early Childhood Development in the UNICEF Gulf Area Office. Prior to joining UNICEF, she worked as a psychotherapist, college lecturer, researcher and head of the accreditation department for child protection services.

She holds a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Belgrade and a master’s degree in Special Education from California State University. Her Doctoral specialization was in Functional Behavior Analysis and Positive-Behavior Support of children with psychiatric diagnosis attending regular educational settings. Dr. Fatima Alkaabi is the Executive Director of Genome program in Abu Dhabi Executive Office (ADEO), the Director of the Abu Dhabi-Bone Marrow Transplant program at Abu Dhabi Stem Cell Center (ADSCC), and a board member in Yas Clinic group. Alissar Nasr

Alissar Nasr has more than 30 years of experience in education across academic planning, curriculum development and school operations. Adrien Taquet is a French politician and founding member of La République En Marche! (LREM) who serves as Secretary of State for Child Protection, as well as Childhood and Family Affairs in the governments of successive Prime Ministers Édouard Philippe and Jean Castex. Miriam Amir Menkarius

Miriam Amir is the mother of an autistic teenager. When her daughter was diagnosed in Egypt more than a decade ago, there was hardly any content online about autism in Arabic. She lived in the UK for five years, where she volunteered with the National Autistic Society and learned from other volunteers, professionals, parents of autistic children, and autistic adults.

Sama Al Azzawi

Sama Al Azzawi is a parent of two girls. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Software engineering from Al Mansoor University in Baghdad. She relocated to the United States of America in 2014. Upon starting her new life in the States, Sama and her husband decided to have children. Julietta Skoog is a Certified Positive Discipline Trainer with an EdS Degree in School Psychology and a Master’s Degree in School Counseling. Debbie Reber

Debbie Reber is a parenting activist, bestselling author, podcast host, and speaker who has been inspiring and sparking conversations for parents, women, and teens for twenty years. She is the author of the bestselling book Differently Wired: A Parent’s Guide to Raising an Atypical Child with Confidence and Hope (2018), a must-read guide for parents raising children with multiple neuro differences such as ADHD, giftedness, autism, and learning disorders.
